Return & Refund Policy

1. Scope
This policy applies to paid services from Detoxbackwrist including custom route planning, group guide packs, seasonal trail audits, workshop sessions, location scouting, and digital guide licensing. All prices are quoted in NZD inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
2. Free Content
Guides available free on our website or via PDF request involve no payment and are not subject to returns or refunds.
3. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
As a New Zealand consumer purchasing paid services, you are entitled to guarantees that services are carried out with reasonable care and skill, are fit for any particular purpose you told us about, and are completed within a reasonable time. If we fail to meet a guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy — which may include re-supply of the service or a refund. Business customers acquiring services for business use may agree that the CGA does not apply, but this must be agreed in writing before purchase.
4. Cancellation Before Delivery
You may cancel before field work or document preparation begins for a full refund within 14 business days. If work has partially commenced, we refund the portion corresponding to undelivered elements, calculated fairly and transparently.
5. Digital Deliverables
Once custom route documents, GPX files, or licensed digital content have been delivered to your nominated email, returns are not accepted unless the deliverable contains material factual errors verifiable against on-ground conditions at the time of delivery. In such cases, we will correct the material at no charge or offer a partial refund at our discretion.
6. Workshop Sessions
Cancellations at least 48 hours before a scheduled workshop receive a full refund or free rescheduling within 30 days. Cancellations within 48 hours receive a 50% refund or free rescheduling within 30 days.
7. Printed Materials
Printed guide packs arriving damaged or with printing defects may be returned within 14 days of receipt for replacement or refund. We cover return shipping for defective items within New Zealand.
8. How to Request a Refund
Email serviceteam@detoxbackwrist.world or call +64 3 983 4500 with your order reference, purchase date, and reason. We respond within 3 business days and process approved refunds within 14 business days to your original payment method.
9. Fair Trading Act 1986
We do not mislead consumers about refund entitlements. If you believe a representation about our services was misleading, you may contact the Commerce Commission: www.comcom.govt.nz.
